Person #9 - A Light Summer

 Undertone test

I am always quite surprised when I sample skin color from summers. The smoky tones to their skin causes the samples to look different from their overall skin tone.  Similarly to person #4, person #9 is quite fair, but the samples appear medium in tone. Person #9 is more neutral leaning than person #4, looking good in both salmon and light pink. In the deeper tones of the 1st column, blue mirrors the rosy undertone better, but only in the middle column is it very evident that cool is better than warm, though both are too saturated. We are looking at a person who is light, neutral-cool, and muted.

Season test

Summer and spring palettes are both characterized by light colors, so I put person #9 in 16-season True Summer and True Spring.

True Spring

The muted, rosy undertone is best mirrored by the True Summer palette, but the skin tone still seems slightly disjoint due to it's neutrality. The purple of True Spring is quite flattering, but the overall saturation and yellow hue of Spring is too much. We are looking at a flow-season from summer into spring, Light Summer:

The sister season is Light Spring:
